What is BMES?
The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is a student-run
organization that works in conjunction with the Bioengineering
department and other engineering societies to organize exciting
events. BMES provides academic support through advising sessions,
plans social activities for the bioengineering community here at UC
Berkeley, and arranges professional events such as visits to medical
centers and biotech company information sessions.
We have many events planned for the upcoming year and hope that you will make BMES a part of your experience here at Cal!
Prior to 2006, BMES at UC Berkeley was the Engineers in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).
